Right time for ICE Upgrade

Recommended Posts

Hello dewank, don't take any risk of voiding your warranty unless you can jeopardise loosing the hump in your pocket. These

company guys will not repair any electronic faults (if any in the near future) if you go with the ICE upgrade that invloves cutting of

wires and modification, they will just say "warranty khatam hai".

I think this car comes with the 3 yrs Chevy promise, correct?

In that case, do check with the service center what all is covered under the 3 yrs promise and if electricals are a part of those, you may have to think twice before you change anything in your car.

Thanks for your input. I have not opted for the 3 years chevy promise.

Will the warranty be void if I only go for Speakers upgrade on the original wiring?

yes it'll! as electrical modification is done while soldring new speakers (from manufacturer's POV) & it takes very little to void the warrenty! so wait untill your warrenty expires!
