"The CB150R shares design cues with the larger CB1000R, sans a fairing, as prominently visible in its headlight and turn signal indicators. It’s a sporty looking, naked motorcycle with racy decals, and an exposed steel frame, which at first glance looks like it could have been better finished. Alloy wheels are standard.The CB150R shares its engine with the CBR150R, already available in India. The CB150R uses the same 149.4cc, four-stroke, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine as found on the mini Fireblade, and is named the Streetfire in that market. Honda has provided the CB150R with a kickstarter in addition to its button starter.Telescopic fork front suspension is standard, while a single monoshock does duty at rear. Disk brakes are deployed front and rear.The CB150R is a motorcycle that makes sense for India, and will give Honda another model to take on able 150cc Indian rivals like Yamaha’s FZ-S and the Bajaj Pulsar 150 DTS-i. Honda has confirmed the CB150R will not be launched in this calendar year, but do expect to see this bike on our roads within 2013. "- ACI

In a nutshell

Its 150cc, so adequately powerful

Its a Honda, so reliable and FE

Its a FI, so again more FE

Its Liquid cool, so best for long drive

Its naked, so can be chucked into traffic easily & is should be cheaper than R15

Once a hit, will force Yamaha to bring its V-ixion, another 150cc naked version of R15

All in all, this stellar combination will make it a huge hit.

If priced right, this should hit Pulsar/FZ/Apache/R15...etc

Its looking good with the dual disc(front & rear), liquid cooling and with Honda's trustworthy engine it can surely make its place in the market.. The main factor is pricing. Let's wait and hope for the best

IT LOOKS AWFULL! Now, it's too late for honda to get in tune with youth & make sporty looking vehicles! If they made it in sofesticated manner, like dream yuga, shine or unicorn, it'll sell much better! Actually, honda bikes are majorly chosen by people of age 35 & above! (expect dio!) & they don't like it to be too flashy!

Guys, can you name one bike that is Good in Suspension, Braking, FE, Powerful yet doesn't cost near a lakh?

Pulsar NS is some what near by, but the FE is just in 30s. This Bike should be 45+ so it could attract customers from Apache to Pulsar NS.

Nothing is there and this bike will address all those issues.

Don't know why Honda is committing same mistake again & again for their 150cc bikes.

From the day one with Unicorn, they're targeting CBZ segment buyers with their commuter styled & commuter-configured bike.

But how this can be possible actually !

Since Unicorn black edition to Dazzler to Trigger, they're trying to make the bike Sporty by re-styling it again & again without altering its Driver ergonomics & seating position. Honda just needs to re-position its Driver foot-peg position & Handlebar position to make it more target oriented.

Then they'll come up with something great to fight with Pulsars, FZs' or Apaches'.
