Leaked pics: New Range Rover Sport 2014

Recommended Posts

Here is a leaked pic of the soon to be launched Range Rover Sport. It is supposed to debut at the upcoming New York Motor Show end of this month. Engine options would be a 3.0 V6 motor putting out 335 hp and 5.0 liter V8 petrol supercharged with 510 horses. Hopefully it should be seen in India soon as well

Speaking purely based on the location of the shoot

This looks more like a heavily modified unit

Why would a soon to be launched product find itself at the roadside garage unless it was a test vehicle that came here for some quick repairs and was captured by the mechanics in the process.

Even if a test vehicle would need any repair job to be done...then too why would a manufacturer who is about to launch this car - would send the vehicle to a road side garage?

Looks pretty much similar to latest Range Rover, Yet with small changes like newer bumpers, front grill & Freelander imspired air scoop near A pillar highlights that "Sports" factor in it! This thing will surely sell like hot cakes!

May be to install the jet black 'sunfilm' ... (typical of launch cars/show stoppers)

Or may be for a last minute polish/wax job

Or may be denting/painting (may have been damaged in transit)

Just saying :P

Just like the Range Rover, this looks too much inspired from Evoque, though it is their new design language but still it looks heavily designed from its younger sibling.
