Toyota Corolla Altis gets new base variants

Toyota Motor Corporation, has introduced two new variants of its flagship vehicle, the Corolla Altis sedan. The petrol variant is referred to as 1.8 JS and the diesel powered variant is called D-4D JS.

Both variants have been loaded with extra equipment, with an aim of lifting sales in the D segment of Indian auto market. New features include dual airbags and a touchscreen music system equipped with an USB port.

The petrol JS has been priced at Rs. 11.74 lakh and the D-4D JS is available for Rs. 13.16 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
