M3 will get a straight-six turbocharged engine, which is believed to produce somewhere around 450-horsepower, up from the current unforced-induction V8's 414hp.

The same powertrain will be used on the two-door M4.

The photos seem to be clicked either in USA or Canada. M sure this could be the next M4!

This is from Los Angeles, USA

This is not the M4 as its a 4 door sedan so the M3 sedan.

BMWs M4 (2 door) coupe is codenamed F82

Fresh spy shots of the new M3 sedan. BMW's designers have muscled up the appearance of the sedan with bloated wheel arches that are filled with chunky 19-inch wheels, a power dome on the hood, an M double-spoke grille, aggressively styled front and rear bumpers, bespoke mirrors, a rear diffuser, side skirts and a rather discrete boot lid spoiler. And oh, just so you won't confuse it with a 320i (in the U.S) or a 316i (in Europe and elsewhere) when looking at it from the rear, there's the typical M-style four-pipe exhaust system.

The car also sits lower than any other 3-Series sedan, thanks to its sports-tuned sports suspension. Other chassis upgrades include a beefed up braking system with huge discs (carbon fiber units will be offered optionally), a different steering system and unique software for the electronic aids

I see they're doing the same thing as the last M3, where the coupé and saloon share the same nose. i.e. the M3's nose is different from the regular 3-series, and uses the wider grille and slightly more slanty (?) headlights from the 4-series. I'm guessing this is in order to keep common bumper/bonnet/front wings for the two cars and save on costs. These M cars are niche products after all.
