PrancingHorse 1 Report post Posted May 22, 2013 Force Motors was always said to be working on an MPV and this one was spotted testing in disguise in Bangalore. It is based on the old Mercedes Vito van and not the Viano. It will use the same 2.2L Diesel engine as the Force One SUV (139 BHP, 321 Nm of Torque), albeit in a different state of tune. The company has already hinted that the 8 seater MPV will target the corporate travel and hospitality sector. The new MPV will likely target existing/new customers for the now dated Tempo Traveller, who are looking at a more upmarket offering. The new MPV is after all basically a cargo van, and unlikely to appeal to the private buyer. Source: Team BHP
librankur 39 Report post Posted May 22, 2013 Motorbash also carried this story yesterday. When did this happen ? As far as i remember the earlier pictures that came out of a vehicle on TEST bearing a MH number were that of a Viano. It wasnt that heavily camouflaged either. PrancingHorse 1 Report post Posted July 31, 2013 This was spotted on the Mumbai Pune expressway by an enthusiast. This seems to be the 1996 Mercedes Vito van and will be launched in 2015 Source: Indianautosblog
Sstar 77 Report post Posted August 1, 2013 It fits in the segment of TATA Winger. I think so far there is no match as far as comfort is concerned w.r.t. Winger.
