Nano -Was it really worth the wait?

Recommended Posts

Now that the Nano is finally here after such a long wait(It's been a good 3 years ,no?),people are expressing mixed opinions about the Nano. Some say it is what was promised and then some. Some say it was thoroughly disappointing. What do you have to say?

iam little inclined to Honda/Hyundai/Toyota etc than the mahindra/tata...

Tata Nano-Cheapest car- Surely needs an Applaud....

U are looking for the price..For this damn cheap price..its surely a gud bet..and as FRG puts it..Its Safer than Bike!!!!

ur not looking into a 50 lac car and criticizing abt body build, performance, etc etc..ur looking at the cheapest car..so there will be constraints!!!!

i think there was enough talk on the forum about it's rear engine.... and due to this what happens to the safety of the car.... and if it can be used for driftingsmiley5.gif... probably drifting in nano isn't such a good idea....

i think nano would provide families a better option of travelling.

however not sure whether a youngster will leave a "karizma" or a high end royal enfield for the tata nano

have to wait and watch how the customers respond to the nano

Kids nowadays get call centre jobs in the vacation or get part time jobs during college doing promotions and stuff.Obviously with such a salary one cant expect to own any other car except the ones that are priced like the Nano.

u kidding...... we have this client..... the guy is a tipical baniya...... he is dam rich..... drives a indica right now and wants nano when it's out...... so u mean he won't get one?...... the guy says..... "there all cars a 7 series or nano doesn't make a diff to me"..... so i don't think it would be possible to keep the car only less than 15k people.....

Yea it was worth the wait. I think its great that people are getting so much choice. People who cant afford pricey cars can go for nano. Hats off to tata for coming with such a product. however hope that there is a limit to the sales else its goin to affect city traffic big time. n wonder how its goin to perform on road!

Nano is a Promise delivered

It is a value for money product and is better than expected on all fronts( dint xpect this cutie for a lakh) .This is the car which every compettor had to say something about gud/bad it just shows how much of an impact it had .This was the most awaited launch of the year in the industry worldwide.Nano is going to be the car that is going to provide safer means of transport to millions of families in India and is set to put the sales charts on fire and is a winner for sure. Its a showcase of Indias expertise in low cost manufacturing.. Even China doesnt have an answer for Nano
