Battle of the SUV's

Recommended Posts

Innova--Clearly the best. But you cannot classify it as a SUV. It is more of a luxury MUV.

Tavera--Boxy, outdated, very taxi material.

Scorpio--Proven winner, even though has niggling issues. Best for city ride and if self driven,

Safari--Really the best SUV in this category. Loads of space, fit to take any terrain , but quality issues will persist.

Sumo grande--Looks good no doubt, but we will have to see if it performs well on the road in terms of stability , braking etc, which were a huge concern in the old sumo.

well innova still has the brand name toyota attched to it.... so ones a toyota always a toyota

So are you saying its just the name thats important and not the product they give you, even if there is some issue with it.

Out of the above choices the Innova wins hands down in all departments - fit, finish, engine, ride, fuel efficiency and rock solid toyota reliablity.

The Safari would be a distant second.

Scorpio could have been second but loses out due to its suspension - which is still from stone age technology. It has the worst ride on bad roads and if you're sitting in the back seat then only god can help you.

Dont know why M&M dont address this basic issue before putting fancier gizmos like rain sensing wipers, tyre pressure monitors and trip computers.

The other cars mentioned dont deserve to be in the same category.
