Recommended Posts

The rendered image of the 2014 Indica Vista facelift is doing the rounds on the net.

Here is one of the pictures I found on a popular forum on the internet.

Tata needs new platform on which they can build on many levels of cars . They really don't have any new investment (or may be it is well hidden). A facelift is not a way to go , they need to overhaul the brand. They need better QC and the fit and finish of their products is really poor in todays competition . Not that I am against TATA but the dealers attitude is really very annoying ,SE don't know about their products because TATA launches a new model variant every 2 months then withdraws it leading to confusion. The facelift looks good but the side profile is Indica V2 types and not at all good looking . They need to redesign the Christmas tree lighting on their products because they make the car look like a box.

Enough of evolution with Tata! I think they need more of a revolution with their entire range of vehicles otherwise they would see more market duds like the Safari Storme in their portfolio. The Indica above through looks different but still doesn't look that aspirational to pull crowds to their showroom.

It's actually somewhat like this, which was displayed as a Indigo MANZA Hybrid concept at Auto Expo 2012.

Again it is an old & already revealed concept & that will hardly seem to fetch out any considerable results.

@livetodrive

Any more pics ? Show us its rear ?.

A rendering is so far off reality.Lets let it surface.

If they do only superficial changes in its wrapping what good will it be.It has deeper problems to correct.

SCOOP ! TATA Vista Tech coming soon:

Tata Motors is working on a new variant of the Vista hatchback that will be called the Tata Vista Tech. The Vista Tech is essentially the Tata Vista D90 (production of which has recently stopped) but with a 74bhp FGT (fixed-geometry turbo) diesel engine, instead of the D90’s 89bhp VGT (variable-geometry turbo) motor.

post-67-0-51158700-1389384075.jpg

The Tata Vista Tech will retain the Vista D90’s interiors (which, like the Manza, slot the instrument cluster behind the steering wheel) and will be equipped similarly too. This means the Vista Tech will get a touchscreen audio system with voice-guided navigation, Bluetooth connectivity and an input for all popular media sources (USB, aux-in, SD card and DVD). There’s climate control too, but rear parking sensors have been left off the list.

(Pic of Vista D90 interiors used above for illustrative purpose as upcoming Vista tech interiors will be more or less the same from the same source itself as article).

Launched last year, the Tata Vista D90 hatchback received a tepid response, prompting the company to stop production within just under a year of its introduction (dealers still have stocks and the Tata Vista D90 presently carries a discount of about Rs 75,000). Using the lower-powered, 74bhp motor will help Tata Motors price the Vista Tech more competitively, offering consumers a well-equipped, large hatchback at a reasonable price.

However, this variant may just be a stop-gap solution, until Tata Motors' new hatchback, codenamed Falcon, replaces it in late 2014.

SCOOP ! Undisguised Spy shots of TATA Vista TECH variant:

post-67-0-70265800-1389384979_thumb.jpg

As reported TATA to introduce Vista top-end fully loaded variant with body kit & other Manza sedan based features, New VISTA TECH variant is spotted recently by IAB reader,

post-67-0-14695200-1389384966_thumb.jpgpost-67-0-03606700-1389384971_thumb.jpg

Changes expected/noticed are:

  • Best in class rear legroom, head room and shoulder room.
  • 6.7-inch touchscreen multimedia system with GPS, audio-video, Bluetooth, AUX, USB and DVD capabilities.
  • Rear charging socket.
  • Auto climate control system.
  • Manza’s dashboard with instrument cluster located ahead of the driver.
  • Driver information system borrowed from Manza.
  • ABS with EBD.
  • Dual front Airbags.
    (Info source: Indianautosblog)

This variant will be going to replace the more powerful, expensive yet slow seller TATA Vista D90 which was powered with 90PS VGT Quadrajet/Diesel engine from Manza/Linea.

This variant will be powered with same 75PS FGT Quadrajet engine which powers the rest of Vista Quadrajet range.

Will see the launch of this car soon..
