PrancingHorse 1 Report post Posted June 13, 2013 Tata Motors has recently said that it will be launching refreshed versions of its existing models. We already have threads on Aria and Indigo eCS facelifts. Now here are pictures of the facelift Indica eV2 testing. Some points according to the source: The car will get the new Urban Brown paint job, the same colour seen on the Indigo eCS facelift. The front bumper to see a redesign and will look similar to what the facelifted Indigo eCS offers. Chrome surrounds for the fog lamps Grille gets a dollop of chrome (current eV2 grille has a grey finish) Hatch lid will get a chrome strip somewhat similar to the chrome detailing on the Indigo Marina, but wider New alloy wheel design for the top end variant Beige colour scheme on the dashboard Silver accents will replace wood finish on the center console 1.4 Liter CR4 turbo diesel engine might get a slight tweak (Not confirmed) Here are the pics Source: Team BHP

neerajd 7 Report post Posted June 13, 2013 A white camouflage on a white car.. And whats a facelift? Giving the eCS headlamps to a lower model in its line-up? Not a fan.. but this one will find takers for sure.
dr_nishu 198 Report post Posted June 13, 2013 TATA is having the habit of giving the top-end variant of the series the new facelift look, while transferring the same to the immediate lower variant. This Refreshed front started its journey from: Indigo XL --> Indigo eCS --> Indica eV2. This family looks worked at the time when the top of the line variant was new enough to excite the customers, so that it can jump start the sales for lower models, when they're facelifted it with it but now as entire TATA lineup is old, this will only add boring element to their line up. They should try to come up with something distinct & new, might be on old platforms but with True All-new looks, interiors & feel
sidsafari 2 Report post Posted June 13, 2013 My friend is planning to buy ev2 diesel top model in 10 days, should he stay back or buy it. When is the new model expected.
creativebala 178 Report post Posted June 13, 2013 ^^ Should stay back. We are not sure whether the upgrade is just skin level or deep inside. If Tata has made changes to its Fit & Finish and other important things, we should not miss it. Similarly, the Resale of prev. gen Indica will suffer post entry of new Indica, so its best to wait.
