DC offers Lounge package for Nissan Sunny

Recommended Posts

DC Design has transformed a Nissan Sunny into a business class saloon like the Mercedes S-Class or Audi A8 with its Lounge Package.

The Sunny doesn’t get any change to its exteriors except the Nissan logo being replaced with DCs on the front grille and the alloy wheels being borrowed from the Renault Scala. The cabin is customized in a 2+2 seating layout divided by the premium centre armrest with several optimization controls for the electronically adjustable seats. Red leather is used for the interior along with plush lounge like seats. The extensive use of light wooden finish is prominent at the doors, centre console and the dashboard.

The driver seat features a large screen on the backside of the headrest for rear entertainment coupled with a small screen beneath it that apparently has an android based tab as the small logos are visible on the screen. The power windows switch on the doors are engraved in the door panels, however the driver door has the company fitted assembly.

DC has done an extravagant job on the Nissan Sunny but a few things seem inappropriate like the position of the glass holder between the front seats is complete baloney, the black gear knob, sun visors and the rear seat-belts feels abandoned and out of the ambience. The complete customization is no less than what you can find in a premium sedan which costs around Rs. 50 lakhs plus.

DC Designs has not announced the exact package cost yet but a hint given by them ‘comfort rivaling cars 10 times it’s price’ is enough to judge how exclusive it will be.

Im afraid this time DC has got the interiors wrong (which was the only USP left in DC Design lately)

The color schemes of red, black, wood trims & chrome bits look too forced.

Whats with such an high positioning of what seems to be "cup holders" on the front arm rest ? Almost close to the drivers face, imagine hitting a pothole & the hot coffee spilling on the drivers face. :D

Personally apart from what is said above I would prefer this package with black interiors. But honestly Im sure the whole thing is customizable to your choice of leather colour. Im expecting a good price because DC has mastered the art of such packages. The Innova and Winger packages are awesome

DC seems to be running out of ideas or this must be the economy package as elements are being replicated .

I have seen all these styling elements before in the Duster Body Kit package launched recently , look closely at the link below you will find everything you see here there.

Any colour scheme is better than the greige that Nissan-Renault offer in Sunny-Scala . I really didn't like the rear Ac vent design because if the passenger seat is raised there will be hardly any visibility to the front. Also I would do without the trays and headlining light because the headroom is tight for tall people . PS- Even DC bought the popular XL variant it seems and got Scala alloys for it .
